Description
This coffee is 2 parts Costa Rica, 1 part Guatemala, 2 part Colombia, 1 part Ethiopia. I found a Costa Rican that gets very chocolatey as it darkens. I shoot for about 20% of that bean and then add complimentary sweet, nutty and chocolatey. It’s comes off as a very clean, balanced cup with just the right mix of sweet and chocolate tones. It’s very sweet!

The 2024 Valentine’s Blend is one of the best cups of coffee I have ever tasted. Just like the label suggests – very smooth, chocolatey – yes. BUT it is also made complete with a perfectly full body. This roast is well rounded, and leaves a deeply satisfying feel and taste. A pour over, in particular, gave me a thick, smooth, almost chocolate syrupy mouthfeel – like eating a box of dark chocolate treats on Valentine’s Day .
